- Australia Bureau of Meteorology Climate Data Online
- Campus ResearchLimit to non-US publications (some are in English), and limit to newspapers, newswires, broadcast transcripts. change date from last 3 year to last 10 years, (or enter a date range, etc.). Use search terms such as hurricanes (or some other disaster type) and power outage -- but be careful, one artile referred to "power poles" being down.
