Geospatial Tech Consultations (Pilot Service)

By Appointment Only

We know GIS and remote sensing technology can be challenging at times. If you need support to figure how to execute geospatial functions new to you, we would like to help.

The Department of Geography and the Map & GIS Library are partnering to help advancing your GIS endeavors by offering geospatial tech consultations.

WHAT CAN WE DO FOR YOU?

  • Hands-on assistance with GIS and remote sensing processes
  • Help determining why you are getting an error
  • Some of our expertise
    • GIS: model builder, projections, spatial analysis
    • Remote sensing: image classification, preprocessing (georeferencing and atmospheric correction)

If our standard service is not what you are looking for, please let us know your needs, and we will strive to customize our help as much as we can.

For data needs, please contact the GIS Team at the Map & GIS Library.
For GIS Labs, please contact your GIS instructor or TA.
For ArcGIS installation or other software-related tech issues, please visit the Texas A&M Esri tech support webpage.
